Tree Tour:
Tour some of the more exotic samples among the park's 140
varieties as well as some of the original plantings of the
park designers.

Bridges
and Arches Tour:
Vaux and Olmsted designed 36 original bridges and arches
to avoid intersections in the park's 3- tiered road system.
Each is unique, individually designed to fit beautifully
and inconspicuously within it's landscape and constructed
of varying materials such as granite, greywacke, brownstone,
Sandstone and Cast-Iron.

As Central Park celebrates its 150th year, we'll take a
critical look at the many improvements made during the last
20 years by the Central Park Conservancy- the private organization
responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the public
park.
